It was an interesting and enlightening journey to Nationwide:
I started with New York Life in my early 20's selling life insurance to young families and individuals. New York Life impressed on me how life insurance can buy loved ones time to grieve, pay off debts and loans, and can keep families in their homes or pre-fund a child�s college education.
The next step in my career was at Delaware Valley Financial Group. There I furthered my understanding of life insurance and how it's useful and flexible estate planning tool that can provide income tax free security for loved ones. It can also provide liquidity to pay estate taxes, especially if the estate largely consists of assets such as real estate or a closely held business that owners may be reluctant to sell to raise the cash to pay the burdensome death tax.
Next was a short stint at Verizon Information Services. Then on to Transworld - a collection agency! No - I didn't break kneecaps, but I did consult businesses and medical practices on the best way to recover the money owed to them, ethically and affordably.
I always wanted to get into the P&C side of the business. I flirted with the idea over the years - and finally decided to answer the call and get back to my roots.
